Pulpwood

We buy hardwood pulpwood by the ton at our Natural Bridge Station log yard. This allows our local loggers to sell ALL their forest products in one place. Our truck scales are state certified to buy on weight, contact us for current per ton rate.

Hardwood pulpwood is all hardwood species. No Pine, spruce, fir, etc. Wood should be a minimum of 2” in diameter and no larger than 24” in diameter. Fairly straight and no shorter than 12ft in length. Pulpwood is the tops or laps of trees, small understory trees and rough logs not suitable for sawing into lumber.

Standing Timber

I also buy standing timber. I can provide a detailed analysis of your woodlands and give you quotes for your standing timber. Once bought, we will handle the harvesting operations and management of the logs.

Road Logs

One of the best parts of my job is the opportunity to visit active logging operations. I can scale and buy logs right on the log landing and schedule a truck for hauling. Giving instant feedback to the logging crew on our order specifications allows us, the logger, and the landowner, to profit the most from each log. By going to active operations, we can see the source of our logs, meet the people involved, and ensure sustainable harvesting with best management practices (BMPs).

Reach out to me and we can schedule a time to visit you logging job and buy some logs!
